Dr. Rector’s goal is to give his patients the smile of their dreams.
“The best gift I could give a patient is to help them feel good about
themselves. Knowledge is critical but ultimately the way we care for our
patients is what separates us from other offices.”
Dr. Rector is a native of Middle Tennessee. He began his dental career in 1985
after graduating from the West Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Rector was the
top graduate in his class and received the J. Ben Robinson Award. He was named
to the Omicron Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Rector was the
recipient of awards from several organizations including the Academy of General
Dentistry, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the American Dental Society
of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Rector is a member of the Tennessee Chapter of the Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and
the American Dental Association.
Dr. Rector completed the Ultimate Esthetic Practice in 1997 in New York, having
trained under the world renowned Dr. Ross Nash and Dr. Larry Rosenthal. Dr.
Rector has been involved in designing smiles since that time. His goal is to create
beautiful smiles in a warm atmosphere.
Dr. Rector and his wife Susan have been married since 1980 and they are the proud
parents of two sons, Evan and Alex. Dr. Rector is passionate about his faith and
serves as a deacon where he is actively involved.
